CMRT 6.31 Released - May 26, 2023
Immediate Template Update From 6.3 to 6.31
The Responsible Minerals Initiative (RMI) released its latest version of the Conflict Minerals template on May 26, 2023. The new release is Version 6.31. It is the latest update since CMRT 6.3, released back on May 5, 2023.
Regulatory Obligations
All United States publicly traded companies filing a 10K with the SEC, must include a Form SD describing the company's adherence, disclosure, and management plan for sourcing of 3TG from the Democratic Republic of Congo and its nine (9) surrounding countries.
The changes you will see in CMRT v. 6.31 include:
Minor revisions to correct reported issues including those related to "Declaration", "Smelter List", and 'Smelter Look-up" tabs.
In the release on May 5th, there were five (5) fixes.
1. Corrections to all reported bugs and errors
2. Updates to tips on the Instructions tab
3. Enhancements which do not conflict with IPC-1755A
4. Updates to ISO short names for countries, states, and provinces
5. Updates to Smelter Reference List and Standard Smelter list

The next template update will occur in spring of 2024.
